Methodology & corrections
What gets listed
A station, network or station group is listed when credible public reporting (trade press, mainstream news, the station or owner's own announcements) says it used an AI-generated or cloned voice on air: AI hosts/DJs, AI co-hosts, AI-voiced news, traffic or imaging. Online-only stations are included when clearly labeled as such.
Sources and dates
Every entry links to at least one public source with its publication date where available. "First reported" is the earliest public report we found, not necessarily the first broadcast. We only record publicly reported facts about organizations — no private information about individuals.
Field definitions
- Disclosed? yes = the AI use was openly identified on air or by the station/owner publicly; no = credible reporting says it was not disclosed; unknown = sources don't say.
- Status active = reported on air recently; ended = reported ended; unknown = not re-confirmed.
- Unverified = only one weak/secondary source, or key details (station, dates) are missing.
Rules
Rules show status as of the "last checked" date. Proposed rules are labeled as proposals. This is not legal advice.
Tips & corrections
Email [email protected] with the station, what changed, and a public link. Stations named here can request a correction the same way; we'll update and note the change date.
